The weather of Cartagena is hot and humid, reason why it is recommended  to wear  fresh clothes and appropriate materials for the place (cotton, linen, thin fabrics, atuendos of short sleeve, etc.)
Cartagena  is the  city of beaches and vacations,  that ´s why it is not required to dress formal in any occasion.
The gentlemen do not require the use of coat and necktie. It is not necessary either the formal use of skirts and dresses for the ladies.
